Larry Sanderson
Larry Dean Sanderson was born on January 3, 1970, in Charlotte, NC. Raised in Charlotte, he attended public schools. Larry met his wife Lady Dawn in 1986 and married in 1990. I am a proud father of a 28-year-old daughter (Madison Sanderson) who graduated from UNCC as a chemistry major and now works as a pharmacy analyst; and a 19-year-old son (Hunter Sanderson) who will soon go to UNCC to pursue his studies as an engineer. He was raised to the degree of Master Mason in October of 2023.
Professionally, I have worked at Alltel (now Windstream) Communications since 1998 to the present.
My Masonic journey began in 2012 when I asked Nobel Ronald Kenley how I could become a Mason. He was a mentor to me until his passing. I joined Long Creek Masonic Lodge in 2012 and have served as master of my lodge on two occasions. Furthering my Masonic education, I joined the Scottish Rite in 2014, attaining the 32nd degree of a Master Mason.
I entered the Oasis Shrine on 11/1/14 in Hickory, NC, and have been actively involved in various Shrine clubs and units such as the Metrolina Shrine Club, the Red Fez Shrine Club, and the Oasis Golf Club. I am also a member of the Past Masters Unit, Hillbilly Clan #13, and the Oasis Carolina Drifters.
I look forward to serving with Ill. Sir Shea and Team ’24.
