Ben Hamilton
Noble Ben Hamilton is from Rockingham County NC, growing up in Eden, NC; later moving to Reidsville, NC after marrying Lady Emily in 1996. Ben Graduated from Appalachian State University in 1993. He served in The NC Army National Guard as an Apache Helicopter Crew Member, after graduating from Officer Candidate School he served as a Section/Platoon Leader in the NC Army National Guard Military Police.
Noble Ben is a 2nd Generation Mason. He was raised a Master Mason in June 2010 at Leaksville Masonic Lodge #136 by his late father Stewart A. Hamilton. Ben served as Master of Leaksville Masonic Lodge #136 in 2014 and 2015. Ben joined the Greensboro Valley of the Scottish Rite as part of the “Howard Coble Memorial Class" in the Spring of 2016.
Ben is a member of Stokesdale Masonic Lodge No. 428 in Stokesdale, NC. Lady Emily’s maternal Grandfather James “Ed” Flemming (or “Papa Jimmy” to his family) was a huge influence on Noble Ben and Lady Emily joining the Shrine Family as he was a Proud Master Mason and loved being a Noble Shriner of Mahi Shrine Center in Florida and associate member of Oasis Shriners.
Ben was created a Noble Shriner in June 2016 at Blowing Rock, NC under Illustrious Sir Johnny King P.P.. Noble Ben and Lady Emily are proud members of The Greensboro Shrine Club where they served as President and First Lady for 3 years 2019-2021. Ben is a member of The Oasis Oriental Band and serves as 2nd Lt.. Ben was first appointed Outer Guard/Membership Chair in 2023 by Illustrious Sir Doug Garland P.P., also appointed to the same position in 2024 by Illustrious Sir Shea Fadel P.P..
